Qualus, a pure-play power solutions firm, agreed to acquire North American Transmission and Distribution. a provider of comprehensive power engineering services in the areas of substations, transmission, distribution and renewable generation, from John Wood Group, a global engineering and consulting company that provides a wide range of services to various sectors, including energy, industry, and the built environment, for $110m. “This acquisition is consistent with our strategy to expand our geographic footprint and resources in Canada, enabling us to offer our comprehensive end-to-end solutions to an expanded client base,” Greg Herasymuik, Qualus President and CEO.
