T-Mobile and KKR-backed Metronet, a customer-focused company providing cutting-edge fiber optic telecommunication services, completed the acquisition of USI Internet Fiber, a Minnesota-based pure-play fiber broadband provider delivering high-speed residential and commercial internet services. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Coverage map of USI complements Metronet's own footprint in the greater Minneapolis area, creating a strong strategic fit as we continue to accelerate the expansion of our network," David Heimbach, Metronet's CEO.
