Fidia, a company specializing in innovative hyaluronic acid-based pharmaceutical and specialty products, completed the acquisition of Altacor, a UK-based ophthalmology specialist. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are focusing our investments in markets with high potential, with the aim of strengthening our global presence and expanding into new therapeutic areas.
