Innergex Renewable Energy, an independent renewable power producer, completed the acquisition of 2609869 Alberta ULC, a core acquisition and holding vehicle, from SR1 Shift Holdco I, a private special-purpose holding company. Financial terms were not disclosed. While Innergex is headquartered in Quebec, this deal strengthens its footprint in the Alberta renewables market, which is currently seeing a surge in corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs).
