CI Global Asset Management completed the acquisition of Forge First.

CI Global Asset Management, an investment management company, completed the acquisition of Forge First, an alternative asset manager with approximately $1bn in assets under management. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This acquisition strengthens CI GAM’s position as a leader in alternative investments in Canada. We are deepening our capabilities and adding complementary strategies to our diverse lineup – providing advisors and investors with an enhanced selection of proven, high-quality solutions,” Marc-André Lewis, CI GAM President and Chief Investment Officer.
