Decon to acquire Batec Mobility from Latour Industries.

Decon, a developer, manufacturer, and distributor of power-assisted electrical solutions and accessories for wheelchairs, agreed to acquire Batec Mobility, a Spanish provider of premium electric add-on handbikes for wheelchairs, from Latour Industries, the industrial investment arm of Investment AB Latour. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are happy to welcome Batec Mobility to Decon, adding a highly complementary product portfolio with its extensive and high-quality handbike offering,” Mattias Lundin, Decon CEO.
