Sanofi Ventures, a corporate venture capital firm, led a $17m Series B round in Character Biosciences, a biotechnology firm, with participation from aMoon Growth Fund, Luma Group, Bausch + Lomb, Innovation Endeavors, Catalio Capital Management, and S32. “These appointments and the additional funding mark an important moment for Character Bio as we advance our first therapeutic programs toward the clinic,” Cheng Zhang, Character Biosciences Chief Executive Officer.
