1789 Capital, an American venture capital firm, led a $60m Series C round in Firehawk Aerospace, specializing in the production of next-generation hybrid rocket engines for aerospace and defense systems, with participation from Presto Ventures, Czechoslovak Group, Draper Associates, Decisive Point, and Stellar Ventures. "The current geopolitical situation underscores the need to invest in innovative defense technologies. Firehawk can play a crucial role in the future of not only rocket propulsion, but also ammunition production. This innovative project can strengthen cooperation between leaders of the American and European defense industries," Michal Strnad, Czechoslovak Group Chairman of the Board and Owner.
