Synopsis
CC&L Infrastructure, an investment firm that develops, builds, and manages essential infrastructure assets like wind and solar farms, roads, and digital networks, completed the acquisition of a 49% stake in Adelaide Wind, Bornish Wind and Goshen Wind projects from NextEra Energy Resources, a wholesale electricity supplier, primarily focused on the operation of wind and solar projects for C$166m. “This acquisition further advances our strategy of building a resilient, long-term portfolio of infrastructure assets underpinned by strong counterparties and stable cash flows. These projects strengthen our presence in the Ontario renewable market and demonstrate our commitment to responsible investment in projects that deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns,” Matt O’Brien, CC&L Infrastructure President.
