DuPont to acquire Sinochem Membrane Technology from Sinochem International.

DuPont, a global diversified chemical company producing specialty chemicals, advanced materials, and water and filtration solutions, agreed to acquire Sinochem Membrane Technology, a Chinese company that develops and manufactures reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, and degassing membrane products for water treatment and industrial applications, from Sinochem International, a Chinese chemical company engaged in chemical intermediates, polymer additives, and new materials. Financial terms are not disclosed. "This acquisition aligns with our strategy to enhance our global manufacturing capabilities for FilmTec™ RO elements and better serve our customers in China and the Asia Pacific region. With an expanded global manufacturing footprint, DuPont remains dedicated to providing solutions that purify and reclaim water sources, particularly in regions facing water scarcity and resource challenges," Jeroen Bloemhard, DuPont President of Healthcare and Water Technologies segment.
