Shift4 to acquire Bambora North America from Worldline.

Shift4, a US-based leader in integrated payments and commerce technology, agreed to acquire Bambora North America, a FinTech company, from Worldline, a French multinational payments and transactional services company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This is a textbook Shift4 acquisition, delivering a massive funnel of gateway customers and payments volume to cross-sell onto our global acquiring platform. This deal is similar to past transactions that have enabled us to rapidly grow our customer base by offering these merchants significant value and a better payments experience with a streamlined end-to-end commerce solution,” Taylor Lauber, Shift4 CEO.
