NSW Government to acquire Northern Beaches Hospital from Healthscope for AUD190m.

NSW Government, the executive state government of Australia's most populous state, agreed to acquire Northern Beaches Hospital, a modern, 488-bed public-private hospital, from Healthscope, a private healthcare provider, for AUD190m. “This agreement delivers what the Northern Beaches community has been calling for – a publicly run hospital that puts patients before profit," Daniel Mookhey, NSW Government Treasurer.
