TÜV NORD completed the acquisition of EPI Group.

TÜV NORD, an international provider of technical inspection, certification, and advisory services, completed the acquisition of EPI Group, a specialist in data centre audit, certification, and professional training services. Financial terms were not disclosed. “With the acquisition of EPI, TÜV NORD is set to be a global leader in certification and training services for data centers. We expect continued strong growth in the data center market, driven by digitalisation and platform solutions, greater energy efficiency and technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and 5G/IoT. Our customers expect comprehensive solutions and local support from a ‘one-stop shop’,” Wolfgang Wielpütz, TÜV NORD CEO of the Certification Business Unit.
