HS Timber to acquire Malå Såg from Setra Trävaror.

HS Timber, a wood processing and timber trading company, agreed to acquire Malå Såg, a Swedish sawmill and wood processing company, from Setra Trävaror, the industrial subsidiary of the Setra Group. Financial terms were not disclosed. “With the acquisition of Malå Såg, we are strengthening our presence in Northern Europe and continuing our commitment to sustainable wood processing. The perfectly qualified employees and tradition of Malå Såg complement our strategy of producing high-quality timber products while supporting local economies and sustainable forestry," Jürgen Bergner, HS Timber CEO.
