CalPortland to acquire ready-mixed concrete assets of Vulcan Materials.

CalPortland, a major manufacturer of cement, concrete, aggregates, and construction services, agreed to acquire ready-mixed concrete assets of Vulcan Materials, a producer of construction aggregates. Financial terms are not disclosed.
