LimhamnsHus Industri, a Swedish family‑owned industrial group active in the Nordic chemical and paint sector, owning and operating surface treatment and paint manufacturing businesses, including Hagmans Nordic, completed the acquisition of Virtasen Maalitehdas, a Finnish paint manufacturer based in Parainen, producing interior and exterior paints and coatings, notable for traditional and eco‑oriented products and strong local market presence. Financial terms were not disclosed. “When the sale of the company became relevant, we were looking for an industrial paint buyer who had the desire and ability to take Virtanen Paint Factory to the next stage of development. We have grown well in recent years, and our goal is to continue growing and developing new products. Now we will gain product development resources and experience with the support of a large paint factory,” Kimmo Suomi, Virtasen Maalitehdas CEO.
