Invest-NL and LIOF led a €22m Series A funding in Qorium.

Invest-NL, a Dutch investment fund focused on supporting deep tech innovations, and LIOF, the regional development company of the Province of Limburg, led a €22m Series A funding in Qorium, a Dutch biotech startup that manufactures cell-cultured leather, with participation from Brightlands Venture Partners and Sofinnova Partners. “At Invest-NL, we invest in technologies that drive systemic change. Qorium’s leather is a breakthrough innovation that can transform one of the world’s most polluting industries. By producing real leather without livestock, Qorium shows how biotechnology can build a more sustainable materials system.
