Sumitomo and TruAlt Bioenergy to form a joint venture.

Sumitomo, a diversified trading and investment company, and TruAlt Bioenergy, a prominent and diversified player in the Indian biofuels industry, agreed to form a joint venture. Financial terms are not disclosed. Through its participation in the CBG production business and the bioenergy business in India, Sumitomo Corporation will accelerate the growth of its Energy Solutions Business, one of the key growth areas in its current Medium-Term Management Plan.
