Carlyle-backed Adicon to acquire Crown Bioscience from JSR Life Sciences.

Carlyle-backed Adicon, a third-party independent clinical laboratory company in China, agreed to acquire Crown Bioscience, a global contract research organization, from JSR Life Sciences, a provider of research & bioprocess services. Financial terms were not disclosed. "After careful strategic review, we believe this transaction represents an optimal path forward for both Crown Bioscience and JSR Life Sciences.
