Arcole, a French private equity firm, completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Methal, an industrial company specialising in heat treatment services, from Bodycote, a provider of heat treatment and specialist thermal processing. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This investment represents for Arcole the opportunity to make independent and autonomous a French industrial perimeter with century-old know-how, previously owned by the global leader Bodycote.
