Sumitomo Chemical to acquire Asia Union Electronic Chemical Corporation from Linde.

Sumitomo Chemical, a diversified chemical manufacturer, agreed to acquire Asia Union Electronic Chemical Corporation, a specialty chemical producer for the semiconductor industry, from Linde, a global industrial gases and engineering company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
