Dedagroup completed the acquisition of a minority stake in Istella.

Dedagroup, an Italian technology group, completed the acquisition of a minority stake in Istella, a company specializing in data analysis. The transaction involved the acquisition of an initial 39% stake and includes an option for Dedagroup to increase its ownership. Founders Renato Soru and Domenico Dato retained 45.4% and 14.7% company's stakes. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The acquisition of a stake in Istella reflects this vision and represents another step toward our goal of defining a European response to general-purpose AI models — a response based on data and expertise built in our country,” Marco Podini, Dedagroup Executive Chairman and CEO.
