Vidrala to acquire Cristalerías Toro for €77m.

Vidrala, a manufacturer of glass containers, agreed to acquire Cristalerías Toro, a glass container manufacturer, for €77m. This acquisition is part of Vidrala’s internationalisation strategy, through which the company maintains significant positions in Southern Europe, the United Kingdom and, since 2023, in Brazil. With this new transaction, Vidrala would strengthen its presence in Latin America with an industrial base in Chile, a country with a strong industrial tradition in the agri-food and beverage sectors and a market characterised by the presence of strategic customers for the group.
