Ardian-backed MasterGrid completed the acquisition of Simelectro P&S from AK Group.

Ardian-backed MasterGrid, a provider of electrical systems products and services, completed the acquisition of Simelectro P&S, a French specialist in power electrical connections, from AK Group, an industrial group active in electrical engineering and related services. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This acquisition reinforces our strategic vision of becoming a major player in services and products dedicated to electrical infrastructure. It allows us to support major international electricity producers on a broader scale, particularly in extending the lifespan of their facilities,” Ludovic Vallon, MasterGrid President.
