Fortis Healthcare to acquire People Tree Hospitals from IHH Healthcare for INR4.3bn.

Fortis Healthcare, an Indian for-profit private hospital network, agreed to acquire People Tree Hospitals, a healthcare network based in Bengalore, from IHH Healthcare, an international private healthcare group, for INR4.3bn. The acquisition provides an opportunity to strengthen its existing operations, enhance revenue and profitability, while simultaneously advancing its planned investment, according to Fortis.
