VLS Environmental Solutions completed the acquisition of Merichem Caustic Services from Merichem Technologies.

VLS Environmental Solutions, a provider of marine services with barge cleaning and repair facilities, completed the acquisition of Merichem Caustic Services, a provider of spent caustic handling services, from Merichem Technologies, a global provider of sulfur treating solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This acquisition provides the most technically advanced beneficial reuse and caustic waste solutions to industrial and refinery markets.
