Sioen, a provider of colour dispersions and inks, completed the acquisition of ISL-Chemie, a specialist in the production of pigment pastes, from Berlac, a provider of premium-grade special and effect coatings for decorative applications. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition fits within Sioen’s long-term strategy and allows the group to bring together complementary expertise, technology, and talent. Customers can now count on even better support with a broader and more high-performance portfolio. In addition, the acquisition opens up new opportunities in the pigment pastes and coatings markets.
