AUB Group to acquire a 95.9% stake in Prestige for AUD432m.

AUB Group, an insurance broker and underwriting agency, agreed to acquire a 95.9% stake in Prestige, a UK-based broker and underwriting agency business, for AUD432m. “Finding the right platform business to expand our UK retail business has been a key strategic focus for AUB as we look to replicate our highly successful Australian model in one of the largest insurance markets globally,” Mike Emmett, AUB Group CEO.
