MyMiniFactory completed the acquisition of Thingiverse from Ultimaker.

MyMiniFactory, a platform that offers a wide range of 3D printable models and STL files for 3D printing, completed the acquisition of Thingiverse, an online platform that hosts and distributes digital design files for physical objects, from Ultimaker, a company that manufactures professional and industrial 3D printers. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Every major content platform is now flooded with AI-generated material, and creators are paying the price. This acquisition is our answer: a combined platform of 10 million users where human creativity is the product, not the training data," Romain Kidd, Thingiverse CEO.
