Synopsis
Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, a long-term institutional investor managing funds primarily for public and parapublic pension and insurance plans, invested in Hyperion Insurance Group, a specialty and retail insurance brokerage firm. CDPQ will invest more than $400m to obtain a 25% stake. CDPQ will join Hyperion as a long-term growth partner alongside General Atlantic.
