Morgan Stanley-led consortium completed the acquisition of a a 75% stake in Portuguese tower business of Altice for €495m.

Synopsis

Morgan Stanley, Horizon Equity Partners and Infrastrutture Wireless Italiane completed the acquisition of a 75% stake in the newly formed tower company “Towers of Portugal”, which comprises 2,961 sites formerly operated by its subsidiary MEO – Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia, from Altice Europe, a French multinational telecommunications corporation, for €495m. “I am enthusiastic about creating new tower partnerships in France and Portugal.
