LGA Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern, a provider of technical advice and tests, completed the acquisition of LGA Bautechnik, which offers tailor-made services, including for inner-city civil engineering, traffic route construction, foundation engineering institute with geotechnics and hydrogeology, concrete construction, from TUV Rheinland, a provider of inspection services. Financial terms were not disclosed. "After 13 years of the Construction Technology departments at TUV Rheinland, the construction issues are again centralized in the LGA. We are now more than ever the testing and engineering service provider in the construction industry," Hans-Peter Trinkl, LGA Board Member.
