Elliott to invest in Windstream for Chapter 11 exit.

Elliott Management, an American investment management firm, agreed invest in Windstream, a telecommunications company, for Chapter 11 exit. Elliott and other lenders will supply $750m in equity financing and are taking 100% ownership under the chapter 11 plan.
