NorthWest Healthcare Properties, a healthcare operator, and GIC, a global long-term investor, offered to acquire Australian Unity Healthcare Property Trust, an Australian hospital properties holding, for A$2.8bn. The board of AUFM said it would assess the proposal and determine whether it was in the interests of AUHPT unitholders to engage with NorthWest.
