PKN Orlen, an energy conglomerate, agreed to acquire 20MW Kanin wind farm from Stage Capital, a private equity firm, and Mashav Energia, a firm engaged in the developing, constructing and operating wind farms. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal is in line with the company’s goal to reach 2.5 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by 2030. It already has more than a fifth of that, including 262 MW of onshore wind. The Kanin wind park has been operational since 2012 under the green certificate support system. Stable revenues are guaranteed till 2027.
