Diversified Energy Company to acquire the upstream assets of Blackbeard Operating for $180m.

Diversified Energy Company, a gas and oil production company, agreed to acquire the upstream assets of Blackbeard Operating, an oil & natural gas company in Midland, Texas, for $180m. The acquisition provides a strategic entry into the prolific, gas-producing Cotton Valley / Haynesville area and the mature gas-producing Barnett Shale, located within the Central RFA.
