Kartesia-backed Babcock Wanson completed the acquisition of Steam Plant Engineering.

Kartesia-backed Babcock Wanson, a designer and manufacturer of medium-sized industrial boilers, completed the acquisition of Steam Plant Engineering, a provider of steam boiler repair, installation, troubleshooting and inspection services. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Joining a group like Babcock Wanson is a great opportunity to continue to develop the company as we have been doing since its inception. The organization of the company will be preserved in its current structure, but this project allows us to secure our future while marking an important stage in our development," Dan Garbett, Steam Plant Engineering Head.
