Carrier, a provider of building and cold chain solutions, completed the acquisition of a 55% stake in Toshiba Carrier, a provider of air conditioning solutions, from Toshiba, a Japanese multinational conglomerate, for $868m. "Carrier sees significant growth potential in the global VRF, light commercial and heat pump segments and is excited by the opportunity to expand our business through this strategic acquisition.
