Platinum Equity-backed Club Car to acquire Garia from Lars Larsen for €67m.

Platinum Equity-backed Club Car, a firm producing small-wheel vehicles, agreed to acquire Garia, a Denmark-based manufacturer of electric low-speed vehicles, from Lars Larsen, a firm that owns companies furniture, golf cars, restaurants, for €67m. "We have great respect for Garia and Melex, which design and build some of the most impressive electric golf, leisure and compact utility vehicles in the world.
