Deezer to go public via a SPAC merger with I2PO in a $1.2bn deal.

Synopsis

Deezer, a French online music streaming service, agreed to go public via a merger with I2PO, a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company, in a $1.2bn deal. Investors in PIPE include Access Industries, Universal Music Group, Warner Music, Orange, Kingdom Holdings, Eurazeo and Xavier Niel, Groupe Artemis, BPIFrance and Media Participations. "Today marks an important milestone in Deezer’s history as we embark on a journey to become a publicly traded company on Euronext Paris.
