Cornerstone-backed Walbar Engine completed the acquisition of Guaymas manufacturing facility of Sequa-backed Chromalloy.

Cornerstone-backed Walbar Engine, a manufacturer of aircraft turbine engine components, completed the acquisition of Guaymas manufacturing facility of Sequa-backed Chromalloy, a global technology company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This is an excellent business combination that will have a significant, positive impact on Walbar’s growth trajectory. The transaction expands our customer base, further diversifies engine platform content, and will provide Walbar with substantial new manufacturing capacity to continue to support our customers’ increasing engine build rates," Keith Schrader, Walbar President and CEO.
