Prosperity Life completed the merger with National Western Life in a $1.9bn deal.

Prosperity Life, an insurance agency that provides a wide range of life, health, property, and casualty insurance products and services, completed the merger with National Western Life, a stock life insurance company, in a $1.9bn deal. "National Western's insurance franchises, products and capabilities will be a great addition to Prosperity. This acquisition represents a significant milestone in the continued expansion of our insurance business. We welcome National Western to Prosperity and look forward to the opportunities ahead as a combined business," Nicholas von Moltke, Prosperity President and CEO.
