Private equity firms Clearlake Capital and Francisco Partners completed the acquisition of Software Integrity Group, an application security testing software provider, from Synopsys, an American electronic design automation company, for $2.1bn. "As security becomes more embedded in DevOps workflows, we believe the demand and importance of application security testing providers will continue to rise.
