Ascension to acquire AMSURG for $3.9bn.

Ascension, a non-profit, Catholic healthcare organization, agreed to acquire AMSURG, an independent ambulatory surgery centers operator, for $3.9bn. “This acquisition is deeply aligned with Ascension’s Mission to provide compassionate, personalized care to all, especially those most in need.
