Allianz Direct to acquire Eurofil from Abeille Assurances.

Allianz Direct, a German direct car and legal protection insurer, agreed to acquire Eurofil, a French direct-to-consumer insurer specialising mainly in motor insurance, from Abeille Assurances, an insurance company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With this acquisition, Allianz Direct would become the number 3 in the French direct insurance market," Fanny Limare-Wolf, Allianz Direct France Managing Director.
