Post Holdings to acquire pet food brands of The J.M. Smucker Co for $1.2bn.

Post Holdings, a consumer packaged goods holding company, agreed to acquire pet food brands of The J.M. Smucker Co, an American manufacturer of food and beverage products, for $1.2bn. “We expect this acquisition to continue our history of creating value with a buy and build approach to categories.
